Tips To Make Your Blog Better When You’re Offline

I remember a few months back I was not able to access the internet for 7 days as some construction was going on in my house, I could have utilized those 7 days if someone has told me about the tips that I am going to tell you today to make your blog better even if we do not access to the Internet, these ways will help you to improve your blog when you are far away from the Internet.

Let's start:

Tips To Make Your Blog

Think of brainstorming post ideas

When you’re not able to access the Internet, take a pen and a copy and start thinking of brainstorming post ideas and write it in your journal. After you think of an idea, start expanding that article by thinking of more stuff to add to it.

In this way, you will come up with quality articles and you can make your articles go live when you gain access to the Internet.

Update previous articles

If you have a good habit of taking a backup of your blog then install WordPress on your local machine and restore all your posts and comments and start reading your previous posts. Update your old articles if you’ve anything new to it and make a list of those posts so that when you gain access to the Internet you can make the changes in your actual blog also.

Make a list of un-replied comments

In WordPress on your local machine, have a deep look into comments, make a list of un-replied comments, and when you have access to the Internet use that list to reply to those comments.

Improve your blog design/theme

If you have a backup of your blog theme/template, open it on your local machine and have a deep look at each design element if you think that your blog theme is missing something, make changes to it to make your blog theme perfect.

Write an eBook

If you’re away from the Internet for a long time say 7-8 days, you can also write an eBook or create a short report so that when you come online you can share that report with your readers. If you lack post ideas you must read my articles that will help to come up with many eBook topics:

Prepare a list of questions for the interview

some famous bloggers in my niche. You too must adopt this habit and if you are away from the Internet, you can prepare a list of some good questions for the interview.

Before I move further, I’ll wrap up the points I discussed in my previous article:

  • Think of brainstorming post ideas
  • Update previous articles
  • Make a list of un-replied comments
  • Improve your blog design/theme
  • Write an eBook

Create a list of tasks to do

Suppose, you are away from the Internet for 4-5 days, now during these days you can create a list of tasks that you’ve to do when you’ll gain access to the Internet. Make traffic-generating strategies and try to cover those tasks that you’ve never tried before.

Create video tutorials

if you are away from your blog and do not have access to the Internet, try creating some video tutorials for your readers. Select some “how to” articles from your blog written in the past and create video tutorials on them

Write your own story and share it on your blog

If you’re away from the Internet for a long time say 7-8 days, you can write a series of posts telling about your life. Try writing your own story of about 3000-4000 words. When you come online, publish this series on your blog. I am sure your readers will enjoy reading it and as they read your story, they will get to know you better.

Always remember that a blog is not a commercial website, you must share your own experience with your readers, so if you haven’t tried this method yet, go for it, and start writing your own story.

Eat & sleep

At last, this is the task that I’ll prefer to do. If you are away from the Internet for some days, enjoy life, eat, sleep, or go on a holiday.

Happy blogging
